2 weeks of 2005 has gone by already.
I don't want to grow a day older.
I like being young and carefree.
But of course, everyone only gets one shot at this.
Take a moment off your hectic schedule
(or for the bummers, stop zoning out) and think.
Think about what you have experienced,
good and bad, how much if, it has changed your lives.
Count all your blessings.
Thank Him for everything good & bad
that has happened to you.
Because, everything that one has gone through,
will have a part to play in shaping one's life,
helping one to grow up,
mature into a wiser and more sensitive person.
I am typing this with a serious state of mind
but if you should see me now in my lazy slouching position,
you'd have never thought so. The irony.
But i digress (to quote boring journalists who use this trite phrase all too oft).
I like being young. I like being a youth.
My my, come to think of age,
my existence on this planet is coming close to the twentieth decade.
Unbelieveable.
(At this point, i'm reminded of some1 who told me of her way to reply the "How are you?" question.)
I've lived through almost twenty years
without a PARTNER. HA HA.
Again, i'm off the tangent. Hah.
Whatever. (Again, i'm reminded of some1 who claims that girls in my school like using this word.)
Parting note,
keep yourself busy, and you wouldn't have time for silly thoughts!
(I should practise what i preach.)
Au revoir ami.
Quotable Quote
We're always getting ready to live, but never really living.
-Ralph Waldo Emerson
