Why must the Majority win?
Minority is always the loser. Why so?
Minority is always the loser. Why so?
Just because more people hold the same opinion, it does not guarantee for a right/ true/ honest answer.
E.g. How does one more window being opened affect the air quality in the house?
Their theory (in wanting it shut): Very dusty. Why open the window? The fan's already on.
My theory: How much of dust can you keep out? Besides, being very minute 'organisms', dust can 'sneak' in under the window cracks. Besides, it's very windy outside, why not let in some natural air? The fan here isn't very powerful in cooling the place anyway.
"Why must you always go against us??"
"Why must you ALL always go against ME???"
Sim Wong Hoo, the kind boss of Creative Technology, is what he is today because of what he did before. One those things i'd like to highlight is, he was never the studious sort and barely scraped thru his school years. He only attended a FEW of his classes in his tertiary days and made a really last-minute attempt at memorising every damn vital fact of his tech-class notes (borrowed from a classmate, of course) and vomitted them out during the examination. Look where the man is now. CEO of a very successful company that could rival Apple's.
That's a simple case of Against The Odds.
Of course i am not advocating this style for everyone, not anybody who goes against the norm/ odds will certainly have a great future ahead. I just ask that these people be given a chance to be heard and allowed some space for creativity to blossom. This is what Changi Airport's management needs to understand, to be able to grow even bigger.
Quote of the day
The future is not completely beyond our control. It is the work of our own hands.
