A-musing

There i was, sitting in the middle, reading Banter, this chap on my right shooting coloured balls on his PSP, and another on my left sleeping soundly with ears plugged, who was, shortly after, replaced by a man reading some Chinese characters on his gadget. This geezer in front with his handphone blasting Hokkien ditties... My bus rides are almost always so interesting like that.
With high-tech entertainment all around, but simple ol'me, reading a magazine. In print. My point? Look what electronic media penetration does, it DISTRACTS me from reality. Like RIGHT NOW, when i am supposed to be typing my news story, but i feel like i must fulfil my pressing need to yadah on here.

Well, i'll end off with something profoundly simple from Woody Allen.

To love is to suffer.
To avoid suffering, one must not love.
But, then one suffers from not loving.
Therefore, to love is to suffer,
not to love is to suffer,
to suffer is to suffer.
To be happy is to love,
to be happy, then, is to suffer,
but suffering makes one unhappy,
therefore, to be unhappy, one must love,
or love to suffer,
or suffer from too much happiness.
