Hadhi and Michelle KARA-OKEY!

Bloody awesome way to end the week of political and religious studies.
2 hours in and by the pool; eating and reading, then swimming another 10 laps before hitting the slide.

After which, a round of billiards, lazing about in the bar, doing more reading, and nearly falling asleep in the lobby, ending off with...KARAOKE! The most crazy fun activity. English, Chinese, Malay & Thai songs all covered. =D All the while accompanied by drinks concocted by my lovely host.

10 hours at the club, an hour odd of waiting by and on the road because of the awful Orchard jam later, i was home at 1230am. That's after being out since 750am, on three hours of sleep, for the COMPARATIVE POLITICS SEMINAR AND PUBLIC POLICIES examination from 9am-noon, but it was all good. I am insane, but that's normal.

These three evenings spent at the beach were...so beautiful. I was strangely reluctant the past two nights (or morn since it was a Friday 11pm-Saturday 1am jaunt) to leave. Couldn't bear to tear myself from the bright lights of the ships and starry sky. It was so breezy on Thursday night, and if i'd a TV and tentage, i would stay the night. Ahh, but Thursday night is TV night and I had to go. When you have to go, you have to. The nearest WC was at least a five-minute bike ride away. The air was quite still earlier, but there seemed to be more stars pulling me back this morn. I was missing someone especially much also... Too many Bahasa emo-songs getting to me.

I discovered on Thursday that Jazz goes with Melayu, and Hadhi's response to that? "Malay goes with anything", what a hoot. Yeah, CHINCHYE LAH! Ahh, Nakal says that in such a funny way and i remember loving it. Mm, more sweet night moments await...gonna hit The Pines again for more jiwang sessions on Jumaat!
