12th: Angsty Girl Winds Down with Nature

Crazily-Determined Chicks (paddling against murky rough waters!?! Eeww)

They brought me Here and then were chucked aside.

Trashing waves

Cumulus Clouds breaking up

Detest what an impending storm does to our shores.
Despite the many vessels not far off, one does get to see a little deeper on a clear day.

These small birds resting on the edge of the cable-skiing reservoir, Ski 360°,
are rarely-seen and hardly captured (on film I'd think)

15th: Another Stormy Evening and Flippant Moment
Finger Pose of the Day

Eating by the Candlelight (returning to my lunch post-swim)

This day (current time 2:20am, Apr 16, this post is backdated as I update it with pics taken earlier in the evening) as I cycled on that winding path between Neptune Court and Mandarin Gardens, I saw a black man walking his black dog.
Wait for it...
For what? A joke of some sort?
There's no punchline. I just thought to myself what a good line that is to include in an entry here, when I'd witnessed the scene. OK, *cue: eye-rolling*

It was power-swimming three days straight at Mandarin Gardens. The first day was good. I went at lunchtime on Tuesday, 1.30 is not a time to be doing laps, you say? It wasn't so bad the heat, best part of it, I had the ENTIRE pool to myself. *smirk* Didn't notice a sunbather til i was about halfway thru my 20 laps. Well, the caucasian lady didn't hang out long enough to turn into a lobster or watch my triumphant finishing (I could still hold my breath for 20 seconds without resting for a few minutes to catch it)! Second and third day I stuck around for about 44 minutes on average from 4+pm (I'm not making this up). It's because, this day, i decided to hang out- actually stop and rest for a few minutes- in the crowded section of the pool where the nasal-toned long-term coach was conducting his lessons with some young annoying mamas- they always are when they choose to stand or swim right in your path- and watch the toddlers and other mini ones. So cute this trio of girls who were led by the only white-skin in the group, to play random self-made games. After awhile, (the seemingly older and taller) one of them got bored and they switched to 'diving'. "Aiyaya, you don't know how to dive", the little bossy blondie said, and proceeded to show the others just what it means to dive, and promptly went FLAT spread on the water. With the other two following suit. Ha! The angmoh community was in full force at/ by the pool today, providing adorable eye candy!

If I were to have a mixed-brood, I hope they take on the finer aspects of daddy's and mommy's features, like a pair of sultry/ pouty lips (however you'd like to describe mine) with a defined nose (not mine sadly), good jawline, double-eyelids (me! me!) and curly hair! I sense a potential model in-the-making already! *Chortles* I like nothing better than a chubby, curly-haired fair-skinned boy as much as a girl, admittedly, I like my man with a tan and with a neat coiffure.

Quotable Quote

Neither a lofty degree of intelligence nor imagination nor both together go the making of a genius.
Love, love, love, that is the soul of genius.
